A Unitree robot is a development platform, not a closed toy. With the open SDK, ROS 2 bindings and teleoperation, teams build custom behaviours, computer-vision apps and remote control — and we help you get from unboxing to a working prototype.

  • Open SDK and ROS 2 bindings for custom behaviour
  • Teleoperation and remote-control stacks
  • Computer vision and autonomy on real hardware
  • App control and integration with your systems
  • Go2 EDU, G1 and Z1 all programmable

Frequently asked questions

What can I develop on a Unitree robot?

Custom gaits and behaviours, computer-vision apps, autonomous navigation, teleoperation and integrations with your own software — all through the open SDK and ROS 2.

Do I need the EDU version?

For full development access, yes — the EDU package unlocks the complete SDK. Standard models are great for operation and demos.

Do you help with integration?

Yes. We advise on architecture, sensors and SDK usage, and can support your integration project.

Which robot is best for programmers?

The Go2 EDU is the favourite for software work; add a G1 or H2 for humanoid manipulation and a Z1 manipulator for grasping tasks.
